What do you love about CBC?

CBC is a supportive, professional and loving environment – each team member has a common goal individually however the support that everyone provides to each other in a time of need is incredibly humbling and powerful.

What is your greatest source of enjoyment in recruitment?

I personally find enjoyment in helping people – full stop! Providing assistance is my middle name, so whether it be helping a consultant with a reference check, or creating a proposal, it’s all in a day’s work for me. Let me help you!

Where do you feel you add value to candidates who are looking for work?

Previously being registered as a candidate at CBC Staff Selection (and working as a temp), I know what it feels like to be in the market for a new career. Assisting candidates find success in their next career is rewarding, so being able to relate to them personally is invaluable.

What’s your work related super power?

My passion for attention to detail! I have a keen eye for ensuring sure that the information provided to candidates and clients is clear and precise.

Can you tell us about the most memorable moment of your career?

Sitting on the volunteer committee for the Cairns Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards for 2021 was a fantastic opportunity in which I learned new skills and met valuable contacts – this wouldn’t have been possible without my role here with Sally at CBC.

Is there a specific project or achievement at CBC that stands out?

CBC Staff Selection being recognised as the leading agency in Australia in Quarter 2 for 2021 for its client experience through our referral platform, Recruiter Insider. It was an unexpected however an amazing achievement by our team, having only used the platform for 5 months.
