Deb 2016 Low ResDeborah joined CBC Staff Selection as our Recruitment Coordinator. Originally from Ireland, she relocated to Australia six years ago. After travelling the world for a number of years, Deborah decided to settle in tropical Cairns four years ago with her two beautiful dogs. She now considers Cairns to be her home away from home.

With over four years’ experience working in finance, administration and recruitment, Deborah has realised her passion for recruitment. She is excited about expanding her career within the recruitment industry with a more people focused role. With her famous Irish charm, Deborah’s outgoing, positive and gregarious style fits in extremely well with our team and we are thrilled to have her on board.

Originally from a little old town named Adelaide, Sophie began a road trip due North and found herself so in love with Tropical Cairns that she figured she’d stay! With extensive experience in the governmental, community service and executive assistance fields, Sophie brings a high level of enthusiasm, empathy and passion to the work place. Sophie loves to work in fast-paced, exciting environments and has a devotion to helping those around her. Out of work hours, you can usually find Sophie in the rainforest with her two toy poodles, volunteering at YAPS or performing around Cairns.

Tracy Watson - Finance Manager

Tracy 2016 Low ResOriginally from Tasmania, Tracy braved the Bass Strait and after travelling both overseas and Australia, has ended up in Cairns. With a background in hotel management and finance, Tracy brings with her a high level of customer service and a practical approach to problem solving. A down to earth attitude makes Tracy a breath of fresh air in our office. Her varied background and travel experiences have ranged from working on a stud cattle farm to running her own business.

In her spare time, Tracy is a busy mum, raising two young boys and a very active Labrador.
